X Factor winner Melanie Amaro’s Pepsi commercial debuts during the Super Bowl and Pepsi has released some ifno and a sneak peak at the ad also featuring Elton John.

From a Pepsi press release:

Set in a rock-fantasy version of medieval times, the 60 second commercial features Melanie Amaro performing in front of a “royal court of rock,” including Elton John’s character, the King. The ad establishes Pepsi as the brand for people who are not afraid to take a chance, raise their voice and give it their all. It also highlights the fact that Pepsi has an irresistible taste worth challenging a king for. With epic Pepsi scale and a big dose of humor, the commercial ends with a twist and the tagline, “Where there’s Pepsi, There’s Music”.
“Pepsi wanted to make me ‘King for a Day’ on Super Bowl Sunday. How could I possibly pass that up?” said Sir Elton John.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be starring in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial, following in the footsteps of some of music’s biggest legends,” said Melanie Amaro.  “Winning THE X FACTOR has changed my life,” she continued.

The 26-year-old Britney Spears lookalike's first lover was a Las Vegas Justin Timberlake impersonator she fell for two years ago.

Kitty, from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, had been determined to wait for Mr Right and was devastated when their romance ended after a year.

‘She isn't this sex-crazed stripper type everyone thinks,' says a friend.

Her best pal Adam Miller adds: ‘She just never met the right guy until she was 24.

'She was putting her career first. Then she met him in Vegas and she was smitten.

'He was her first love. They dated for a year and she thought he was "the one".

‘But it ended nastily - she told me he wasn't the man she thought he was.

'It was very upsetting and she hasn't had a proper boyfriend since. She's thrown herself into work.'

Stacy Francis, a single mother-of-two, proves dreams do come true when she impressed the judges with an inspired performance of “Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin during the first auditions at the “The X-Factor” premiere on Wednesday (September 21)- watch video below.

The 42 year-old confessed she finally got out of an abusive relationship, in which her partner always told her she was not young or talented enough. Stacy believes this is her last chance to prove herself, saying “I don’t wanna die with this music in me”. Drama.

Stacy’s performance was emotionally powerful. She has a good voice, and she got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell and the rest of the judges. Wow. Simon claimed that was one of the best auditions he has ever heard in his life. Wow.

43 year-old Geo Godley proved to be willing absolutely anything to become a star, performing his own original song (“I’m a Stud”) during the first auditions at the “The X-Factor” premiere on Wednesday (September 21)- watch video below.

Geo started singing (horribly, I might add) and then he dropped his pants and shakes his junk all over the stage. Everybody was shocked. Judge Paula Abdul actually walks off stage, and is taken to her bathroom, where she puked her guts out. No kidding. True story.

OUCH. “What the bloody hell was that?” Simon Cowell asked. LA Reid added: “Listen, that was offensive, disgusting, distasteful, upsetting. Get him out of the building please.”

We can certainly understand why Gary, 40 - who's been happily married to wife Dawn Andrews for 11 years - has had to keep his co-judge at bay.

'He's so handsome and so charming. But 
I know he's married.

'I've met his wife and she's lovely. And girl, she has a nice piece of husband at home!'

Super strict X Factor Judge Kelly Rowland has warned her finalists that they could 'lose everything' if they don't follow her rules.

The 30-year-old, who is in Miami shooting the judges' houses section of the show, believes that focus and discipline are the keys to success.

'There will be no alcohol, no smoking and no talking loud in clubs,' says Kelly.

'I didn't go out until I was at least 22 and I didn't party until two years ago.

'I've always been strict.

'I don't drink a lot, I don't smoke, I want to succeed.'

Kelly, who is mentoring the girls on this year's show, has asked her own personal voice coach Rob Stevens to help them with technique

But she is not looking forward to having to eliminate contestants.

'This is a hard list I'm going to have to narrow down,' she tells the Mirror.

'I'm really worried about telling them. I've had "nos" in my career since the age of 13.

'I know what if feels like.'

Simon Cowell is reportedly going on a strict diet after piling on the pounds while gorging on homemade treats on a recent trip to the UK.

The 51-year-old music mogul has reportedly vowed to cut out carbohydrates altogether and is tucking into vegetable smoothies for lunch in a bid to shed the weight he gained by over-indulging in his favourite home-cooked meals while visiting Britain.
Simon is now reportedly hoping to lose 14lb and get in great shape in time for the launch of the US version of his talent search show 'The X Factor'.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "He's been having meals Brits love such as spaghetti Bolognese and fish fingers and chips.
"Being back in Los Angeles, he said it's much easier for him to lose it as he will swim every day and his fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy will make sure he eats healthily."

The pop svengali recently admitted to being "vain" and insisted it is natural for TV stars to be obsessed with grooming.
Simon said: "I am definitely vain. But to be honest with you, I can't think of one person who is on TV who isn't vain. It's the nature of the beast.

"I work out a lot. I take care of myself."
