Nollywood screen goddess, Chika Ike has bagged the prestigious United Nation Ambassador Of Peace Award.
According to her reps, the highly revered actress of our time cum top rated fashion icon was honoured and made a UN Ambassador by
the international organization based on her past works as an
accomplished actress, her charitable works, and her entrepreneurial
spirit gave her the edge among her contemporaries.
This however comes with a customized plate number, an international ID card, and an award certificate.
The
award also comes with a lot of works for the tall and ever smiling
beautiful Nollywood actress, because it entails attending UN conferences
—- home and abroad —- and coupled with a lot of humanitarian works.
Speaking at the epoch event, Chika Ike says:
“I will try so hard to live up to the position I have been given, and I will be fully dedicated to the cause.”
The ebullient actress has joined the likes of Hollywood actresses Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie, Nollywood actresses like Omotola Ekeinde and Ini Edo as UN Ambassadors.
