Scotty McCreery is looking to make a big splash when his American Idol winning album, Clear As Day,
debuts on October 4th. McCreery will be holding appearances all across
television culminating in an 18th birthday bash that Saturday before a
return to The Grand Ole Opry the following Tuesday. Scotty is going to be one busy guy!
Starting the week out next Monday Scotty McCreery will appear on The
Today Show on NBC in the morning along with a presentation of
“Introducing: Scotty McCreery” on GAC
at 9PM ET/PT that night. The press release describes the GAC show:
“GAC cameras have been following Scotty since June and have captured
many important moments that have occurred since he won Season 10 of
American Idol in May. The show also features interviews with family,
friends and industry leaders who have played an important role in his
personal and professional life.”
On Tuesday, October 4th, his album, Clear As Day, hits the shelves
and is ready for purchase. He’ll make an appearance on Live with Regis
and Kelly on ABC that morning as well.
Wednesday brings a night time appearance on The Tonight Show on NBC.
That Thursday you’ll be able to find Scotty… nowhere! He’ll be
resting up for his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on NBC Friday
morning.
Once Scotty finishes up his week of TV appearances he’ll be
celebrating his 18th birthday Saturday morning (11 AM) at the Time
Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek
in Raleigh. If you’re nearby then you can get in for free by bringing
along a copy of his debut album. They’ll have them for sale there at
the event too. You can also win tickets through the local media.
As if all that wasn’t enough Scotty will then be back at The Grand
Ole Opry the following Tuesday, October 11th for a performance set to
broadcast live at 8PM ET that night. Phew! Winning American Idol sounds
like a lot of work.
