Selena Gomez looks to have hit back at Justin Bieber's adoring fans with her new single 'Who Says'.Selena Gomez, the American singer-songwriter, premiered her new single 'Who Says' on Ryan Seacrest's radio show yesterday (8th March 2011) and the singer says it is dedicated "to the haters", reports OnTheRedCarpet.com. During a conversation about the song's meaning, Gomez told Seacrest, "I feel like my fans need this song right now. Especially with Twitter and Facebook, it's just it's really negative for me". The 18-year-old has reportedly been subject to a tirade of angry messages from Justin Bieber fans following the couple's decision to go public with their relationship. Gomez went on to explain, "Within that world there's just such easy access to people's feelings. So, I think that this song is such a great message for my fans and it really touched me when I heard it. Basically it's to the haters. It's to the people that try to bring you down".
'Who Says' appears to be a musical departure for Selena Gomez, with the 18-year-old debuting a more acoustic sound. During the song's chorus, Selena sings, "Who says, Who says you're not perfect, Who says you're not worth it, Who says you're the only one that's hurting, Trust me, That's the price of beauty, Who says you're not pretty".
